Well if you're talking about the 1996/30th anniversary version then I would agree but all in all this was recorded and mixed in mono and was meant to be listened to in mono.

Mono pressing still reigns supreme, whole album was mixed in mono after all. I'm sure there's some decent stereo mixes since it's much easier to translate a mono mix to stereo than vice versa

Stereo mixes are always better. There's more room for the instruments to breathe and be distinct.
