pretty genius idea to bring those genres (shoegaze, southern rap) together, and salem (aswell as white ring) did a great job of it, but i guess it came 10 years too late to grow into anything serious
then again there probably wasnt much else you could do with it

but i feel like the scene was too hardcore for america and they preferred the accessible versions like cc.

also that cracked out performance they did with fader killed their hype
