Motorhead never put out a bad album
>>70304040
This is too good to be labeled dadrock desu
>>70304401
I mean I guess this counts right? Even Nirvana is technically dadrock now.
>>70304410
Dadrock isn't necessarily a derogatory term, just means rock music old enough for your dad or other older relatives to like
>>70304410
I think you meant to say that it was too OLD to be labeled dad rock. It's more like grand dad rock.
And just because something is labeled dad rock doesn't make it bad.
I don't even understand this dadrock meme. It only makes sense if you're in your mid 30s to 40s.
My dad was born in 1970 and therefore the music of his youth was from the 80s and 90s.
Cream is the shit
>>70304409
not that i disagree with you at all, but the classic lineup blows anything later out imo.
they had the roughneck band-of-brothers outlaw type thing perfected, and you just straight up don't see photos of the later lineups as great or as genuine as the classic ones.

don't listen to this pleb, he should go back to talking about sports like the normie he is.

Seconding Led Zeppelin and Boston.
Also, A New World Record and Eldorado are good ELO albums.
London Calling
The Cars
>>70304410
I get where your coming from but I didn't mean dadrock in a negative way. Just meant rock from '65-'80 about.
Quintessential

Was going to post this.
Electric Warrior is also good.

First time I've seen face the music mentioned here. Love that album.
Pretty much any Steely Dan album.
Their debut is my favorite but you really can't go wrong with any album of theirs.
Pretty good live album.
I dare you guys to come up with something more dadrock than this.

Is alternative rock classic rock now?? I feel old as fuck if it does. When I hear Metallica on classic rock radio it seems so weird.. the thought that Nirvana might one day be is fucked.

I heard both smells like teen spirit and all apologies on a classic rock station
It's already happening
I've also heard RHCP's under the bridge and black by pearl jam on there
>>70308081
What dads were hip enough to like the stooges though?
If you want dad rock you gotta go for the insanely popular classic rock like Zeppelin or Aerosmith
>>70307760
No, THIS is the most dadrock dadrock live album
It's like a dadrock world fair

>>70308615
You don't have an obligatory 4 at 4 of Beatles tracks?
(Which I find kind of hilarious given that everything else my classic radio station is either blues or hard rock)
>nobody posted mirrors yet

this is the only right answer
>>70305124
OP asked for dadrock
where's your contribution
>>70309126
I sometimes feel this is the best pop music could ever hope to be. It's so special. Like the Mona Lisa of music.
the sickest riffs available in 1970
>>70307784
You think hearing 90s grunge on classic rock stations is bad. I heard Boulevard of Broken Dreams on a classic rock station when I went out of state once.
One of the best rock bands ever.
