Yeah right. Gene Roddenbury didn't have the creative wear withal to come up with a character like Ziggy Stardust. Not only had Star Trek been cancelled by the time David Bowie released Space Oddity even if the show had still been on the air I highly doubt Captain Kirk and his crew would've known what to do or how to act when meeting or being confronted by the great and powerful Ziggy Stardust.
