I really want to know exactly what he says during the chorus, before he starts saying spikes. I honestly have no idea and the lyric sheet that came with the vinyl just says "spikes"
Also, I'm not sure what to make of the lyrical content of this album. Like you said, Ride's flow is great. But I can't help but feel like he's just saying nonsense on every song. On one hand, you could say it's like an abstract painting; it doesn't mean anything at face value, but a certain combination of words could invoke a certain feeling or create some interesting imagery. But on the other hand, he could just be running out of ideas and saying weird shut to be lolRANDUM!
