That's a T Rex cover you idiot
sonic youth's first album sounds very stoogey at times. and not just because of the stooges cover song on it

GG Allin and his bands (Jabbers, scumfucs, murder junkies) was similar to the stooges but not exactly the same as them. With GG Allin taking what Iggy did to the next step concert wise.

Might want to try some 80s and 90s garage punk
I always found the Damned - Damned Damned Damned was the ultimate stooges worship.

In my opinion this album sounds a little Stoogey at times.
Although not as Stoogey I would also recommend Music for Pleasure by The Damned. Listen especially to the songs "Alone" and "You Know". they will remind you of the best moments of Funhouse. (And I don't need to tell you that The Damned covered 1970/I Feel Alright on their first album n ow do I? Or that The Dictators do a fine cover of Search and Destroy on their second album Manifest Destiny?)

Chrome - Half Lip Machine Moves is like industrial Fun House
Spacemen 3 - Sound of Confusion is a bit similar, there's some Stooges covers/tributes on here.
James Chance - Buy is also kind of like Fun House, singer is very Iggy-like
