There's some neat guitar stuff in the soundcloud threads that could be pretty decent with further development/better production, but most of it is meh. I kinda agree with you though, there's a lot of ambient and hiphop stuff but that's just the nature of sharing music online

I think soundcloud/bandcamp threads are generally boring and a waste of time desu, they're too fast and too boring and there's often multiple in the cataloge at the same time with the same profiles posted, though i do like checking them out every once in a while and actually have found some cool artists on them
