>>70200290
I listened to a couple tracks from it and I very much enjoyed it.
Stoked to get deeper into them.

you're into it now congrats
>>70200308
Why? It's so boring.

wide instrumentalisation
interesting textures
non-pretentious psychedelia
what would you recommend instead?

I'd recommend the Super Monkey Ball Soundtrack.

are the newer ones any good?
>>70200530
lel, go to ryms neo-psychedelia chart, go to page 3 and pick something from there rather. you look like a pleb with that thing on your chart

no
the very first one is the best
the one in the OPs pic is the last one to be good, it's really uneven for my taste
Their first 3 albums are absolutely fantastic and essential listening.
Sweet Light or whatever it's called is also really fucking good.
Their live albums are also fantastic and worth a listen.
That EP with the arm is really fucking good as well, despite being more straightforward and garage rock-ing
But of course, /mu/ doesn't go beyhond the /mu/core meme album, so don't believe the "only LAGWAFIS is good" meme.

Yes, they're very good. White Light White Heart is probably their second or third best.
I love the first song in that album, but then the songs are too much of a clusterfuck.
I'm gonna try listening to it again tho, it has some really interesting parts.

i thought songs in a&e was aight
Lazer Guided Melodies > LAG > Pure Phase > Live Royal Albert Hall 1997 > Let it Come Down > Sweet Heart Sweet Light > Amazing Grace > Songs in A&E
There. Now you know.

That's an LP
And you forgot his most ambitious record, Let it Come Down.
But yes when it comes to Spiritualized one of the most significant neopsych bands post 1990 this board is fucking clueless.
