Nah dude rock just doesn't have much of a direction to go really. Pretty much everything's been done with a guitar, bass, drums. All the well known bands are just rehashes of sounds of the past or are mixed with other genres like hip hop or EDM. The shit on bandcamp and soundcloud is mediocre and the kids don't care anymore.
