Now that the year is almost over, what is your final opinion on this record?
It has some great tracks, but it's filled with retarded experiments and boring songs too.
Waves, 30 Hours and No More Parties in LA are top-tier Kanye.

Agreed
Pretty good but not great.

A decent album that's tarnished by Kanye being allowed to touch a mic
The worst album I've ever listened to in its entirety.
First half is B Yeezus
Second half is A- MBDTF
Strong 8
30 Hours and Ultralight Meme are god tier
Kanye took a gamble bullshitting an ENTIRE album and it apparently worked out for him. Yeezus should have been a once-in-a-career type of album to sidestep expectations from MBDTF but he obviously took the wrong lesson from its success.
the songs with the best beats seem to have the worst lyrics and vice versa, it makes me so mad
has some of his best songs, but also has some of his worst.
also, 30 hours encapsulates both (first half vs second half)

i love the complete 180 on kanye nu-males have done since he came out in support of trump
>will toledo's aoty
that tells you everything you need to know
better than yeezus
Inconsistent as all hell but when it's on it's some of his best work in years. Only better than Graduation and Yeezus due to the chaff but shit like Ultralight Beam, I Love Kanye, FML, Real Friends, 30 Hours and No More Parties In LA make it ultimately float.

Honestly, another production masterpiece.
His lyrics keep getting worse... this should be considered unacceptable but in today's culture that's not considered that terrible lyrically. I'm not one of those people who thinks music is getting worse, but the standards for lyrics certainly have.
