I have to unsubscribe from Spotify because I needed to pay for a new work computer.
I need a music player for desktop and mobile, fast.
What do I use?
1/1 Bumps
Foobar and Rocket player
Spotify
MusicBee if you can't be arsed to configure foobar

This
Spotify free desktop is 99% the same thing
Free phone app is different but I think perfectly decent unless youre a wet blanket. i.e. their forced shuffle recommendations are fucking awesome
Black Player EX is the only decent music player for Android I've found besides paid Poweramp.
Rocket Player is the absolute shittiest because it shuffles ads between your songs

It is most certainly NOT close to the same thing.
You cant even listen to a half an album before an ad, and that was a loooong time ago when I didnt have premium
I dont even think you can listen to songs in any order now witht he free version. I went to my gf's place the other day and she uses free spotify. Told her to put on an album and it played shuffled and shes said she couldnt change it. Then every other song was an ad.
Premium is $5 a month if youre a student now. Shits lit and you can use it on your phone

If you're jailbroken there's a tweak to get premium spotify for free minus the downloads for offline listening.
You get high quality, no ads and songs in order.

For desktop? Then you and her are fucking something up or possibly there's some licensing differences if you're in another country, I'm on burgerland. And I would say desktop is literly 100% the exact same thing but I'm allowing 1% for whatever stupid personal profile crap someone may use.
Free phone app is a different story and yes there are ads
