yeah, thats the struggle. just playing when you get alone time or starting with the basics might prevent them from attacking you
Bass (electric and upright), self taught guitar (basically just a rhythm player), and currently in the process of learning piano

>basically everyone wih a soundcloud here
Nah you're thinking of
"chill" "ambient" "vapor" "beats"
>>70004570
Does self taught guitar count if you're actually good? Cause 10+ years of playing guitar, can read music, etc. Never had money for lessons till I was too good to need them. Bass I guess too cause it's literally guitar for people who gave up trying to learn guitar.
Also drums, but drums aren't an instrument.
nah i just play drums

I have taken violin lesson sporadically for 5 years, Got back one month ago. According to my teacher I have serious problems to play in tune, and I'm always a little off.
She also said I play like a robot, without any musical expression. Last week she gave me a piece from Suzuki Book 2, which I played years ago, to practice musical expression.
I can play some piano, but not much. Since I'm already paying to violin lessons, I'm trying to learn piano by myself. I'm using some online resources, and following the suzuki piano school.
I'm self-teaching piano atm and starting drum lessons next month. It's very frustrating but fulfilling.

what if you're actually good though senpai?
:/
received four years of lessons on guitar, kinda bad at it regardless. self-taught on piano, pretty decent I suppose but a whole lot to learn. also own a ukulele but it's such an easy instrument. also a dinky plastic recorder.
