Is this any good? At least for a starter?

Was actually looking into buying one for myself. Most reviews I’ve read have described it as a decent starter turntable, though the LP120 is a better option. Would like to hear some opinions on those who own one though.

Stop being poorfags and get the LP120. You won't regret it.
i bought an orbit for my first one. i feel like i made a good choice
at least get an LP120.
variable tracking force matters.
my LP60 skipped on some records and there was nothing I could do

I like mine, but the second I switch to 45RPM I want to chuck it out the window.

thanks lad
Tfw 10 years ago you could buy great used vinyls from goodwill for a dollar each but hipsters ruined it. Fuck paying anything over 12 bucks
Get the goldmund reference II
Audio Technica is a meme and it will eventually kill your records

Don't bother with the LP60 if you're serious about collecting records. It's got cheap components and minimal features (counter weight, adjustments yadda yadda).
But on the flip side. If you just want something to play your parents old collection / listen to thrift store records then this will be fine.
You'd be better off looking for a used TT on craigslist or something. The LP120 is made using similar materials but it does have more control going for it too.
just got the 120 and its fucking gr8
way better than the 60 but if you're starting off the 60 is alright, better than one of those cutesy ass briefcase ones that suck ass

Honestly, they both suck

I can vouch
listen buddy the lp60 is belt driven, save up and buy a motor turntable like the lp120.
if you buy the lp60 now your just going to want to save up and buy the lp120 or a better turntable in the future trust me thats what i did.
Better to just save up a bit longer for a better turntable
lp60 build is pretty flimsey too, all plastic, way too much tungi on the needle

>goldmund reference II
