It's BECAUSE they made pop-music that was family friendly that everyone hates them. They go around acting like they're bad ass rock stars, yet their music is the most ball-less generic pop shit ever written. I know this is bait, but there is no way anyone with taste could like this band, even as a guilty pleasure.

I know it's a meme to hate Nickleback but there's a legitimate basis for it because their music is boring, uninspired, and obnoxious. It's the epitome of the lame, watered-down post-grunge sound that got really big after Kurt offed himself.
