Honest opinions on this? I still can't comprehend why Black

Yeah Im big on the Pixies, stuck through Indy Cindy, but can't see myself picking up a copy of Head Carrier. Flipping through the songs on youtube on the day of release was honestly just depressing.

Used to be my absolute favorite band. Loved everything from the Purple Tape to Bam Thwok. Then Indie Cindy happened

What is so bad about the new albums?

Some songs are pretty strong but most are mediocre to terrible and overall none of it sounds like classic Pixies.

I'm a huge Pixies fan, so I was pretty excited for this. The singles were good and some other songs, what not nearly as close as the 90's pixies, but a bit forgettable. it alright

It's better than Indy Cindy, but that's not really saying much.

Shit happens when Kim Deal leaves a band. Also. Head Carrier has maybe 1 or 2 good songs. I enjoy Um Chagga Lagga and Tenement Song, the other tracks I don't even bother with. Indie Cindy is even worse. Apart form that I love every other album by Pixies.

Does anyone listen to The Breeders which is fronted by Kim Deal. Opinions?
