I know /mu/ hates twenty one pilots, but their first album is actually worth a listen
Also fuck you, I like it

No offense, anon, but if you seriously think 21 pilots is great music then I wouldn't go around trumpeting your tastes too much.
I mean, it's got a lot of cool sounds to it, but that's pretty much it in terms of content. There's no form, no flow. No apparent INTENTION behind what you're hearing other than to just sound cool - just a bunch of cool sounds someone decided to slap together (which is about as far from the most positive aspects of Grimes' music as you can get.)

you mean, actually not worth a listen

Thank Christ, I've been saying this for years.
You forgot your trip, Montie
its just a Muse ripoff though

I never said it was great, I'm just saying that before all their songs started blatantly following a pop formula, their music was pretty decent and worth a listen. I think their first album is different enough to justify asking people who hate their current work to listen to it, because it basically goes in an entirely different direction.

Also why did you bring up grimes

Dude it's a copypasta.

I used to be into them a few years ago. I can't listen to any of their stuff anymore. I don't think people dislike them just because Blurryface follows a blatant pop formula, it's more that all of their lyricism is Linkin Park-tier edgy with the subtlety of a brick to the face.
