At around 0:57 there's a splice where George Martin combined two pretty distinctive takes of the same song. It's in between the words "I'm" and "going". It's easier to hear if you wear headphones; the background instruments change completely. The mellotron in the left channel drops out completely and strings come out of nowhere in the right.

I wish this had never been pointed out to me. It hardly ruins the song or anything, I just notice it every time now.

What I like is in the live version they performed on the David Frost show, Paul adds a little "oh" at the part where you can hear the shout in the recorded version, so they totally knew it was there.

Anyway, the Beatles have so many blips like that there's a whole site dedicate to them

This. I know it was supposed to be cool and experimental but I wish they just left the whole song with mellotron part, it's got this dreamy vibe. I think I also prefer the demo version of this song with only John and his guitar. Heck, I even think Paul and George fucking around with SFF during Get Back sessions is more interesting and experimental than the final product.

I just heard this for the first time. It's more noticeable in the single version with awful Harrison I JUST GOT A NEW EFFECT demo solo.

It's when he says "mother" at the 3:00ish mark. It's supposed to be a clean minor chord, it's definitely a mistake.

The cymbal is mixed SO LOUD on Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands. The mono mix has it the worst but it's distracting on the stereo mix too. I love that song but I wish it wasn't mixed like that.
