Literally isn't jazz music. It's closer to atmospheric music. There's a French atmospheric project that did an album based on the Paris World Fair, with speeches and period music interspersed. Don't remember what it's called but its closer to what you like

in caretaker recordings the jazz samples are arranged in a manner consistent with atmospheric ambient music, i.e. repeated, reverbed sounds. just because the sounds are samples of jazz doesn't make the music jazz, it just makes it samples of jazz used in ambient music. dig?
