Anyone interested in starting a post-rock/ambient project or a math-rock project ONLINE at long distance? Keep in mind bands like Stars of the Lid have recorded masterpieces like this, members sending each other shit back and forth.
Preferably if you got experience recording shit or recording your own shit, I obviously know my shit.
Here is some post-rockish stuff I wrote some years ago, I've gotten tenfold better now:

Here's some math-rockish stuff I wrote in 5 minutes:

What instruments do you play?
What DAW you're familiar with?
What genre are you interested in?
>how would this work tho?
We send each other the same shit back and forth, on the same DAW/recording software. I use Ableton Live myself, I could send you a link and teach you how to use it if you're interested, it's easy as fuck
I got a guitar and a MIDI keyboard, my troubles are that I don't have a bass, and that I don't know how to play drums IRL, so making up drumbeats is kinda hard for me.

Lately I've been listening to a fuckton of RHP and Kozelek.
Do you mean with vocals or without vocals? If it was a post-rock thing, I had something more like Stars of the Lid and Labradford in mind.

Ableton? it's pirated. It's easy to install.
Can you guys join this discord so we can discuss this?

I really love the chords they use. Probably cause I don't understand what they're doing.
I'm just compiling a .rar to send you.

Kinda Interested, sidereal austerity sounds nice btw.
I play keyboards, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, some viola.
Familiar with Reaper.
I'm not familiar with rock in general, but about the ambient part, I know some early ambient/drone/minimalism which influence I could bring into.
Here's a little jam I just recorded on a cheap old fucked up one note tuned guitar
