That's because people who were hipsters in the mid-late 00s are in their 30s now.

It was yesterday's hip urbanites' 20somethingcore but now those hipsters have aged.

Although hipster music definitely kind of evolved into adult music at some point kind of like how baby boomer's music turned into adult music in the 1970s as they all hit their 30s (see yacht rock, Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, etc). A lot of Pitchforkcore has been kind of 30something core for a while now.

Meanwhile younger hip kids aren't like indie hipsters now, they're more something I can't quite name right now. Kind of these post-vapor kids who listen to electronic music and Young Thug and yacht rock but also stuff like Merciful Fate. Basically they evolved into me.
