Even when the voice is not a distraction, the rest is hardly intriguing: I Can't Give Everything Away boasts an awful distorted guitar against syncopated beats and layers of electronic drones: not exactly genius. This is trivial "music" that any amateur could make, except that most amateurs would be ashamed to release it.

I didn't really got into Outer Edges, Noisia knows how to tackle other genres BRUL and Raar are some of my favorites but this album does nothing for me.

That remix of Power Curve was the closest thing to proper Noisia I've heard in years.
I just wish they stuck a little more time with the Imperial EP sound, that stuff was hard as fuck.

I also have Blackout on my ignore list. That Misantrop EP was fun but that's it.

Reading up about the origins of bleep music in the early 80's, it's absolutely fascinating the melting pot of different genres like funk, post-disco, early hip-hop and Kraftwerk-inspired synthpop that electro and then house/techno were born out of.
