What's your DAW of choice? I'm most familiar with FL, but I just got a new computer so I'm looking at other choices for home recording.
what kind of music do you make im also curious about a good daw but the kind of music you want to make matters a lot
>macbook with Logic Pro died
>can't run Logic on PC
>only DAW I'm really good with
How am I going to make folk glitch now ;_;

I do lots of instruments when I record metal or folk music, but I also like to be able to write electronic music. Maybe FL is going to be my best bet?

its a great daw but most people are hesistant to use it because of the elicenser dongle and the only piratable version is old as fuck compared to other cracked software
Ableton is fantastic if you do anything sample based at all. It's just pretty great in general. Easy interface but very powerful right out of the box.

I've loved Ableton for the few years I've used it, but man... it's hard to get shit to sound like it isn't made with default shit. Maybe I just ain't close to good enough

Just got non-default soundbanks then ese.

Heh, good point.
Here's a seemingly-easy question that I need help with, as well: if I want to sample a part of a track -- say, a certain drum hit, or a 20-second section or something -- how do I save that to the Browser for so much future easiness?
I use MMM. Fuck you, I like the simple interface
