One of the most influential bands in the Norwegian hardcore scene during the late 80s, as well as one that holds up well today. When I think "hardcore punk" I usually expect to be a little bored but not so with this band. Releases were OOP and hard to find until Boss Tuneage re-released their entire discography this year (of which I bought all of them), so I hope you try them out. Pretty consistent too--if you like a few songs, you'll probably enjoy all their work.

Louisville scene, ran with the Slint guys early on but went on to do pretty artsy stuff in Bastro, Gastr Del Sol before going solo. Not surprisingly, I'd compare him to Jim O'Rourke in terms of being all over the place. This is one of his more accessible albums where he rocks out on the banjo.

Generally, a SNES cartridge is capable of producing 16bit sounds at 32kHz. Sometimes with eumlation, the output can reach about 48kHz. I obtain my music from the .SPC format. The SNES had one of the better Sound chips of the era. With that said, the sound quality probably isn't all that great to begin with from a technical standpoint, but clarity "depending on most listeners" can be quite clear. At worse, you can always convert FLAC to a less bloated lossy format. I just use FLAC for convience.

Right now I am working on completing the entire library of Namco museum ganes from Volume 1 to Volume 5. I generally rip games that I own or just like in general.
