kinda freaking out because I always wanted to do production and never got around to it despite having a feeling I had a real knack for it because I kept telling myself I never had time to do it

I finally got myself to sit down and practice with ableton these last few months and released my first proper tune last week which is a simple remix of Dizzee Rascal's 'I Luv U' in the style of Pulse X and it just got liked by rapture 4d aka this relatively big grime producer who's been played on radio 1 xtra and plays all around the UK

If you add different synths in between, it won't sound as bad. What kinda bugged me was the lead synth you used. Maybe change the lead more often and add some more effects on it when necessary.

I might do that. It was a song made with FL Studio which didn't have the option Ableton has to bounce the synths to wav, which meant adding more synths murdered my computer. Now that I moved on to Ableton it should be easier.
