Can we have a "Curiosities about musicians" thread?
Post curious facts/stories you got from Musicians.
>Dave Mustaine claims to have been a theistic satanist during his youth. He claims to have cast curses/hexes on people he disliked and that these were actually successful.
>After becoming a Born again Christian, Mustaine refuses to perform some of Megadeth's songs, which he says, are completely satanic
Dio means god in italian.
If you turn Dio's logo upside down, it reads devil.
RJD said this was a coincidence. It obviously wasn't
Cliff Burton died because he won at cards against Kirk Hamett. Burton won with an ace of spades (ironically) and took Hamett's bunk. The tour bus skidded off road that night and Burton was sent flying through the cubicle's window and got crushed by the bus. Hetfield says he was sure the driver was drunk but this was never confirmed.
In another "freaky accidents" series:
Randy Rhoades died because the retard aeroplane pilot he was travelling with decided to prank Ozzy's tour bus. The pilot flew too low and hit the bus with the aeroplane. He lost control and crashed against a building, killing them both

Here's some stuff about Einstürzende Neubauten:
Blixa Bargeld and Gira are good friends.
Blixa had to hold a ceremonial speech or something similar when he was in school, but he set the podium on fire instead, was expelled and never finished his education.
During a year in the seventies he was in a "constant cocaine delirium", and "any cash that came in went straight up his nose." (according to Alex Hacke)
He was homeless until the early nineties, when the band started collaborating with theaters and made some real money. The first plays they worked on were terrible.
Blixa has a wife and a child so he definitely isn't gay, but it is still possible that he is bisexual. There are photos that suggest this (ie, he's literally french kissing men) and even the rumor that FM Einheit was his boyfriend, but he, IIRC, denied any real homoerotic feelings and completely dismissed the Einheit rumor.
N.U. Unruh made 20 molotov cocktails before a Neubauten concert in 1983 and threw them at the audience throughout. Nobody was hurt, he just wanted to make them run around the venue.

The most bizarre one I've ever heard about EN was that they once played a show where they were supported by Showaddywaddy

I love stories about mismatched support and headline acts, like that one time Devo opened for Sun Ra

So did Kobe and Moby.
