music for this feel:
Depression may seem romantic and fun when you're young but as you get older and things start to matter more it becomes quite a bummer. Sort it out while you have the time. You don't want to be knee deep in working 50 hours week and you suddenly realize that you also have to deal with being intensely sad.

lmao no one who has actual depression thinks it's romantic and fun, maybe some non depressed people think that because of the glorification of it in media but there's nothing fun about hating yourself and being sad all the time.

like 3/4 of the reason I'm depressed is because I've never experienced romance lmao

Eh, when my depression first started about ten years ago, I was fooled into thinking it was an asset in my creativity and apparently everyone had it so I felt there was nothing wrong
But all those people turned out just fine and my depression never went away...I think the problem is the glorification is for short-term depression which is very common but long-term depression just sucks

People romanticize depression all the time when they don't actually have it. It's quirky to them for some reason.
I'm just going to use this thread to put my feelings out there.
I'm a temp on a company, i work 5 hours a day, second shift, but my workflow is huge, i deal with clients, and i cant close my eyes without thinking about sheets.
I didnt slept today, i'm thinking to swing by the company on the morning shift and stay till the late shift to get some shit done.
Problem is i dont know if i can take it. Im on meds for anxiety but they have ran out and i fucking crave more like a junkie, plus i havent slept.
What do /mu/? Any musical tips to help me get through the day? I'm allowed to listen while working.

I like to listen to stuff I haven't heard before while working. Your brain doesn't try to play along and it can be nice to take a break for a few seconds and just listen.
