Can we stop having threads about a shoddy Beatles tribute band and instead have one about the real deal?

I mean, on a few tracks, but most of the time they were aping Status Quo or glam rock or mod rock or punk type stuff

Sounds like you haven't heard that many Oasis songs then.

I've heard Wonderwall, Supernova, Don't Look Back. Not of my own volition of course. I hate those complete pop frauds and wish them a slow and painful death, but they do get played in public every now and again and I can't escape it.

I've heard the only albums supposedly worth hearing (the first two) and they sound like Rubber Soul - Revolver knockoffs with whiny vocals. The couple of post 2000 tracks I've heard are imitations of Revolution.
