Iron Maiden was the band I started with, get some ozzy to, I feel like BNWHM is the best to start with, then the thrash masters (early metallica, megadeth, anthrax), into harder thrash (Slayer, testament) into death (death, morbid angel, obituary, gorguts, opeth) and black metal. (burzum, darkthrone, emperor, celtic frost)
