I have an RG with an Edge Zero on it, my main problem with it is that you can't install a Tremolno on it without having to drill new holes and shit.

Hey im playing guitar for a new months now and want to buy my first electric guitar and amp. I currently play on loaned stuff from my friend, a fender mustuang II(which i loath) and a cheap Les Paul replica.
Do you guys have good recomentions for good beginner instruments and practice Amps?

Are there any kind of flat strap locks for guitars that have the strap screw on the back?

I just use a Planet Waves locking strap. I haven't had any problems with it. I just make sure it's all ratcheted up before I play a gig.
