Anyone else here display vinyl like this? I always have, it's just something that I got from my dad, our house is full of framed vinyl like this.
I'd only frame records I don't like because I play the ones I like.
I've never understood the appeal to it honestly. I'd rather just frame a gig poster.

It makes you look like a pretentious cunt.

I hadn't really thought about it until today. That's a bummer.

But you're gonna do it anyway, I hope.

Take away the far left and swans and its actually surprisingly appropriate.
The far left only make sense if you're under 30 at best. Otherwise they're are super common and familiar. One step away from putting up led zeppelin

Was a pound in my local charity shop, bought it for shits and gigs a while back.
framed posters autistic. the glass just makes the image more difficult to appreciate because of the reflected light. framing records is even more stupid

This is completely pointless unless the record is an extreme rarity which you never plan to play. It just reeks of 'pretentious hipster who sees vinyl as an aesthetic thing rather than a medium for the distribution of art'. If you really like the album cover, just print it out yourself. Even then gig posters or album ads are almost always prettier.

Nice oxymoron

Except it isn't.

This.
Don't see the reason behind this. Only if it's like a rare pressing I could get behind it.
