Looking at it in a broader scale of music rather than pop music I don't think the two artists are that much different. Also if you really want to prove your point you're gonna have to come with more examples than one from each of the two countries. I'm pretty sure someone with a better knowledge of japanese pop music could show us a worse artists than britney spears.
