Why is this and many other jazz albums so dull, monotonous, lifeless, and boring?
>>69488994
Because, my dear friend, there is a thing in life we all have that is called, an opinion.
It's because you aren't smart enough to understand J A Z Z

>>69488994
All subjective criticism and therefore meaningless
>>69489407
No, lifeless and boring. Very monotonous, as well as dull.
Jazz fans consist of the lowest degree and the most easly amused plebs.
>>69489409
Probably cause you're a new tripfag
>>69489452
>subjective
Not really, if you actually listen to it you'll notice how monotonous and dry it is.

It's funny that this is considered Coltrane's masterpiece when drummer Elvin Jones' performance is really the highlight of the whole album.
I'd say Coltrane's best musicianship is on Crescent.
>>69489496
But I've listened to it probably somewhere close to 50 times and never found that to be the case.
Those words are subjective. Try analyzing the music to find what about the music you found to be monotonous and dry.
Otherwise please don't expect anyone to give a shit about your opinion.
>>69489833
Probably because you're a pleb
I mean, you listened to it 50 times. Go figure, lost cause.
>>69488994
Because that's what Jazz is, lifeless and monotonous.
Jazz fans are worse than Radiohead fans
>>69488994

Belting vibrato isnt soul.

>tfw (You)'re too patrician to like jazz
Well it's improvisation based so instead of having repeated hooks it just has a continuous flow of notes. But a lot of pop and R&B music could basically be thought of as Jazz + hooks.
>>69490268
I hate this disgustingly obvious pseudo-psychological that call threads bait because they can't handle a disagreeing opinion
Jazz is lifeless, dull, and monotonous. For plebs only.
