In that case, just get good mics and have a good sound interface you can use for mixing and mastering. Unless you're playing live, no need to buy a real fancy mixer since you can do it all on computer.

Why not just get an audio interface, a mic, and a DAW? It's easier and cheaper to record and mix everything on a computer nowadays. You could get all that for $500.
