>mfw I've been posting here for over five years
What's your favourite musical discovery that you've found in your time on /mu/? I'd like to thank you guys for introducing me to A Tribe Called Quest.
I legitimately did not actively listen to music before /mu/. Never bought a cd, or even listened to stuff on youtube or whatever. I was so lonely my first year of college that I came here on a whim for something to do. Three years later I'm still lonely, but at least I have music.
I might not have found Elliott Smith, Nick Drake or Dan Barrett were it not for /mu/.
I still regret ever coming here though, of course.
I can get so much fuckin music for free and i am very happy about it
Seriously though, introduced me to plenty of real good punk (Gorilla Biscuits) and hip hop (Mobb Deep) that i would not have found on my own if i wasn't looking

Animal Collective. Some on here think that they're just /mu/-core garbage but I like them and I genuinely think MPP eventually became one of my all-time favorite albums.
Also /mu/ opened my eyes to what a musical genius Brian Wilson is.
Dataplex....... that's about it
In a word... Kero!
[spoiler]90% of my music has been found from sharethreads

I fucking love you guys.
Got me more into Wu Tang I think, I'd heard Enter the Wu Tang before, but I think /mu/ introduced me more to their solo albums, and while I probably would have got to them eventually otherwise, amazing albums and some of my favourites.
