That one is fine, but having a receiver is definitely preferred.

Though Audio Technica is a decent brand their quality stretches across the spectrum, the LP60 is almost on par with Crosley. At the very least you should buy a Turntable with an adjustable counterweight (big knob on the far end of the tonearm) to ensure you don't destroy your records.
