why aren't you using the spotify web player? no ads at all and comfy UI
Low bitrate.
Wait, no ads even without premium?

This. And it's not available in my country.
>>69403855
yeah, I don't know why more people know that

I think adblock blocks them. As far as I know, they'd play normally without one (if not on premium).
Because I'm not completely retardet in tech and can block spotifys adserver IPs

You can block ads on the desktop and mobile apps too. On mobile I believe the easiest way is to use a hacked client if you can't modify your hosts file (need root) and on desktop you can use hosts again or use ezblocker (which works perfectly now).

>block spotifys adserver IP
hm interesting, is it as easy as blocking them in my hosts file?
worked with skype as well for a while
>>69404040
Never heard of ezblocker before but the website looks sketch as hell
>>69404051
yeah that's all you have to do
Google for the IPs and paste them in the hosts file

allright cool

It's either a github page or a programmer's blog. That's pretty much the least sketchy way you could download software.
Cause I sure as hell am not paying for spotify, so I ain't gonna use it outside of checking out new stuff when I could just listen to the stuff I own
