I don't frequent this board, so I'm not sure if you guys tolerate indie music much; all I'm asking for, are some recs. I haven't been in the indie scene for at least five years now.
Can you fine gentlemen please recommend me some indie hits from between 2011 and present? Artist recs and albums would be great, as well.
I liked: San Cisco, Those Dancing Days, Circle, Princess Chelsea, etc. (I'm a little plebby, I know).
>Princess Chelsea

God damn, my dude; that makes me a bit sad. For me especially, since I associate indie music with the holidays, and cold weather.
Back to listening to old stuff, then.

I personally wouldn't say it is. It's missing that thin film of je ne sais quoi that all indie music has.
San Cisco is much different now. I like their older songs.

Thanks, my guys. I'll check it out.

Its almost 2017, "indie" lost any substantial or descriptive meaning it has a decade ago

I've listened to none of those bands.
Animal Collective, Neutral Milk Hotel, Car Seat Headrest, Songs: Ohia, Strand of Oaks and shit like that is the only indie I care for.
Pic related, I also third Of Montreal
