Can we discuss how shitty rap music really is? Give me one reason that rap is not the most degenerate genre of widely listened to music existing on the earth today.
Lyrical content is absolute cancer and the stereotype of it all being about "money and hoes" is suddenly accurate.
>one time I looked up the lyrics to a rap song and almost every line had "nigger" at the end of it, not that hard to rhyme the same word faggots
Rap is poisoning what could be good civilized people due to its low tier language, excessive cussing, small perspective lyrical content, and easy access to all.
And we haven't even touched ground on trap music with its machine gun sounding background beats that plague literally every song resulting in extreme bore after listening to it for more then 10 minutes.
Black people have created exceptional works of art within the world of music (pic related, just listen to the final track and you'll see what I mean) but rap is the lowest form of anything that they have come up with. Why does it still exist.

listen, if hip hop (or rap whatever you want to call it) isn't for you, that's fine. but you don't have to go over generalizing the entire genre based off of a few shitty songs you hear.
And maybe i just speak for myself on this one but trap music for some is just fun to listen to. if i happen to listen to trap music in the car or while im cleaning or something im not going to be analyzing the lyrics for some greater meaning. its just dumb hype shit, and nobody is trying to convince anyone otherwise.
Because it's not bro country
Actually I guess bro country hasn't killed anyone

nigga what the fuck does that even mean. like if you would've just said boring i would've been whatever but how the fuck is it "13 year old back pack shit"

Fuck even old rappers even gave an attempt in having flow when they "sang". Now a days most of the popular shit is just dudes talking in a monotone voice with the occasional "uhh" and "yeh". Not too mention the over abundance of guests/friends on every fucking album that overlaps with each other.
Fuck, why can't I like rap? I really want to see where all the "genius" from Kanye West is that so many proclaim him to be.

what do you think of rap/rock crossover bands that are not nigger-ish or politically motivated?

>one time I looked up the lyrics to a rap song and almost every line had "nigger" at the end of it, not that hard to rhyme the same word faggots
I know this is bait but I always find it hilarious when people say this like they've never heard an internal rhyme before
>>69308419
this is fucking awful stick to your musty rawk music
Cite some actual lyrics where there is no rhyme and each line ends in "nigga." Because even if each line ends with that word the rhyme is on another word.

I can't hear you with all those dicks in your mouth.

If you hear him rap it that rhymes
>>69308637
then why put nigga at the end of every line?
>>69308654
Cuz its rap nigga. Young Thug isnt even really about the lyricism just his wierd ass inflection. Its like an acid house version of Lil Wayne.

It's a catchy way to make things flow nicely, I guess. I don't really give a shit, but he's not rhyming "nigga" with "nigga" so that criticism doesn't apply. People get so touchy about that word being used in rap for some reason.

one of the suprisingly very few that get it. usually when i hear the argument of "he rhymes nigga with nigga" i don't even bother
