There seems to be a lot of misconceptions in the music community regarding the differences between 320kbps mp3 and FLAC format. It is true that 320kbps is technically as good as FLAC, but there are other reasons to get music in a lossless format.

Hearing the difference now isn’t the reason to encode to FLAC. FLAC uses lossless compression, while MP3 is ‘lossy’. What this means is that for each year the MP3 sits on your hard drive, it will lose roughly 12kbps, assuming you have SATA – it’s about 15kbps on IDE, but only 7kbps on SCSI, due to rotational velocidensity. You don’t want to know how much worse it is on CD-ROM or other optical media.

I started collecting MP3s in about 2001, and if I try to play any of the tracks I downloaded back then, even the stuff I grabbed at 320kbps, they just sound like crap. The bass is terrible, the midrange…well don’t get me started. Some of those albums have degraded down to 32 or even 16kbps. FLAC rips from the same period still sound great, even if they weren’t stored correctly, in a cool, dry place. Seriously, stick to FLAC, you may not be able to hear the difference now, but in a year or two, you’ll be glad you did.

Salon Music - My Girl Friday (1983)

Looking out for setting itself apart amidst the synth-pop and new wave craze that was dominating the music scene at the time, Salon Music's release opted for a low key and restrained approach. The vocals here are warm and pleasant however mostly a second concern to the music itself. The instrumentation is very varied, pulling discreetly eclectic arrangements, the melodies are experimental but nonetheless always wielding an acquainted posture, the music gets somewhat enebriating and wavvy half way through while the thick guitars and twisted synths can remind of the distortion found in shoegaze, or twee pop all driven by adventurous yet completely harmless progressive beats. The mellower and acoustic
moments at the end definitely had me, imo very nice, kinda of a proto-shibuya kei sound, recommended for fans of early Pizzicato Five, Flipper's Guitar, etc

It's just a simple javascript called "Deezloader"

it's easy to use when you have windows. simply doubleclick the "start.bat" file and wait for a cmd window to pop-up.

if you use a Mac or Linux, you need some knowledge on how to get the .js file work in the terminal

and yes, deezloader realy should be in the OP since it's so easy to use! in my opinion tho it would even better for the share threads. it would clean up the basic requests which come up here and make space for the more rare and unknown stuff

It's also possible that it will catch attention from programmers here who can develop it and fix some of the bugs. I would also realy like an Android app, which shouldn't be hard to make since all you need is already in the javascript
