vacuums
listen to it while drifting off to sleep, I had a euphoric experience doing so.
Kevin Shields himself said 1/3 of people who listen to it simply will never understand the appeal.
After you listen to one or two songs of it you either love it or hate it.
it's the same song repeated 10 times

Because it's the only good shoegaze/dream pop album.

Dream Pop is literally Repeating the Same Song Over and Over Again: The Genre
shitty feels album

It is a cardinal pillar of shoegaze, a rite of passage for anyone trying to get into the genre. Kevin Shields deserves all of the genius accolades he is awarded, for this album alone. The sonic palate is impeachable.
How can you not get loveless? Kevin shield's work is amazing and get sounds that you think would not be possible on a guitar, the singing has an amazing eerie and dreamy feeling to it that gives the album the sensation that you are floating in a endless sea of melodies. The album cover describes perfectly how this album sounds, is relaxing and warm at the same time.

it's so dreamy
>>69222260
creative use of sampling
it's not my thing but i totally get how people like it
>>69222190
Sounds like a musician trying to sound underground and edgy, a band like deathgrips which is far more abrasive to normies wouldn't even say something corny like this.
>>69222204
Agreed, I enjoyed most /mu/core albums but this is another one that absolutely didn't stand out.
>>69222211
I don't see why this makes it good, and shoegaze isn't a valid genre imo, it's a slight variation on others.
LOUD NOISES.

I think endtroducing is the better sample album, but SILY is just pure fun to listen to. The best description I've heard is that it's like an ADHD person had tons of radios and made schizophrenia into a sound.

I legitimately feel sorry for you plebs.
I mean, I appreciate what he's doing. It certainly has character, but it just doesn't sound that great in execution.
>>69222167
blanket of sound which wraps around you and the layers
>>69222204
the imperfect beats and samples create an amazing atmosphere imo
>>69222260
this one i dont get either
>>69222302
indie rock before indie rock, the interplay between the two guitarists is spectacular
>>69222337
this one too i dont get
>>69222418
i think this is his weakest album so i dont know
