what do you think their next album will sound like, /mu/? pic related was such a tonal shift compared to their last work, which direction do you think they'll go next? further down the depressing and spacey route, or back to their rock-oriented origins?
no guitars hopefully
more stuff like worrywort please
I'd like to see them go down their old rock direction. I like subtle, sad music, but AMSP was bland for me.
What will they do? I don't know. Some part of me thinks it will be like In Rainbows.
Hoping for a callback to Kid A era electronics, minimal guitars as well. No electric guitars. More sad piano shit like videotape and TLW. I need more motivation to die.

>Some part of me thinks it will be like In Rainbows.
A Moon Shaped Pool was like In Rainbows, though.
Next album will be the Radiohead folk album that's been hinted through the last ten years, but never fully realized.

No it wasn't. It was their first album that sounded like they hit a wall and rehashed old songs.

All of their albums contain older songs though. Motion Picture Soundtrack was written in 1987, There There was written during the Kid A sessions, and Nude was written in 1997.

Sit Down, Stand Up and Life in a Glass House were first played in Meeting People is Easy, Morning Mr Magpie is from a 2002 webcast, majority of the In Rainbows Disk 2 tracks were old, the National Anthem bass line was written in the 80s.
Radiohead are like trolls. If you keep feeding them, they'll keep making shit albums. It's over. It's been over. Let it be.
