pretty much equal to me. spiderland is excellent at points but kinda uninteresting to me at others. loveless is very upbeat and fun to listen to on good days but lacks an essential heartache. itaots is interesting for the first handful of listens but then it loses its appeal and goes wacky.

I can respect that, I don't think it's a bad album but Evening Star is a masterpiece. Also RiL by miles for me. There's something so strange and otherworldly about RlL that just keeps me keeping back. It's catchy, it's fun, it's esoteric, it's eccentric, it covers a wide variety of moods. I used to think it was overrated but with every listen it only rises higher on my rating system. It's at a 9.2 now and will probably only go up
