anyone else unable to shake this?
yeah it has flaws but it's really stuck with me more than any of his previous work

I wanted to like it a lot more than I did. It's very cool aesthetically but there isn't much substance to keep me interested. I listened to it pretty consistently the week it came out then forgot about it. I think it's good but the weakest of all his albums.
Production is great, but at its core the songwriting is still the exact same shit as his other two
generous 7/10
I think the people who say that it sucks are being reactionary. I think the sound of the album is very unique and interesting and some of the songs carry this sound well, but it wasn't executed amazingly.
Solid 8 out of 10, I've listened to it pretty much every day since it leaked
I dont know how he managed to make each song so memorable
I recently listened to it on my headphones whilst walking through a small town at dark and oh boy did it hit me hard.
Don't get me wrong, I already liked it prior to this experience, but that one brought it to a while new level for me.
It's one of the only albums I know of that can be enjoyed in different ways on different formats and doesn't suffer from being listened to on poorer speakers/headphones or on inferior formats, such as cassette.

10/10 AOTY just like his other albums
It's too short, none of the musical ideas are ever developed. There's one 10/10 moment on every song that's whisked away like it never happened.

It's not a bad album by any measure but I'd rather listen to anything else in his discog. It also suffers from how damn forgettable it is.

Agreed, easily his best work yet. Hopefully he continues with the BI project because I really like this new direction Vernons headed
