Why is /mu/ not losing its shit over this?
You guys did for the new Radiohead (which IS amazing, btw).
Seriously, this is phenomenal. I've been bobbing my head all day.

We got a big thread but im happy to start a new one. Favorite track/verse? Ego has been on repeat all day, idk how Q Tip kept his skills so sharp for over a decade after falling off
They need Fantano's/Pitchfork's approval first.
The Album is fantastic.

As far as favorite verse, Busta Rhymes feature really surprised me. Still digesting some of the lyrics though

Fantano - Light 7
Pitchfork - 8.1 (no BNM)
screencap this
It isn't that good and will get panned
>>69025710
Even fantano couldn't give this a 7 it's gotta be worth a strong 8 to a light 9 if not a 10 it's great
>>69025600
>mfw the chorus of We The People
shit senpai, ya'll got me hyped for this! downloading now

Cohen did get a sticky
>>69025798
it's so bad
yeah i don't know guys. nothing really "phenomenal" happens when i listen to it.
>>69025744
Fantano is unpredictable. I could totally see him panning it for being "too old-school, too traditional, not experimental enough".
>>69025908
It's a dense album. Takes more than one listen to get into it.
The first disc is a lot better than the 2nd, the beats especially.
I never liked Consequence and they went and gave him a song with Busta.
This is probably Busta's best work in years though, he always fit well with these guys.
The album sounds solid but I don't think there are any songs that stand out when you think of singles like "Check The Rhyme", "Electric Relaxation" or Jazz.
Also like all Tribe albums there isn't enough Phife on the tracks, but at least Jarobi was great on this album.
Am I a hypemaster?

Not this album buddy

>new Radiohead (which IS amazing, btw)
Was about to reply but realised you're not worth a dignified response if your taste is that garbage
>>69028727
you havent listened to Peoples Instinctive Travels enough times.
I liked it. It's a better closer to Tribe's career than The Love Movement.
