My dad listened mostly to ZZ Top, Deep Purple, Frank Sinatra, Duran Duran, ACDC, Pink Floyd, Bon Jovi, Scorpions and Eloy. He doesn't really care about music anymore.
Still this song managed stuck in my head after listening some of his old cassetes in the car.

I know, which is why I started to appreciate him
his lyrics are simple and yet deal with complex things, understandable and yet have so many layers to them

Part of that is because I can actually appreciate musicianship/craftsmanship now. There is a lot of pop/rock sort of stuff from the 70's that I never appreciated until more recently because I used to simply write off the entire genre.
