There's always a guitar/bass general but what about us fans of electronic instruments, synths, drum machines and the like? We should have a general too.
Let's get some gear talk going.

I'm mainly a guitar buff and been trying to get more into to synth so far all i have is this midi keyboard

Always a good way to start. What soft synths are you using?

I've been trying to figure out how to use serum more complex then i thought it would be
thinking about purchasing the korg minilogue what are /mu/'s thoughts on it
I do make my own music mainly metal but I do use some synths sometimes for ambient stuff or for the background of the guitars. I don't use a physical keyboard because I'm a cheap asshole but I've been using the aethereal psychic modulation

Sounds nice paired with an Eventide Space

>tfw eventide eefects are about the same price as korg minilogue

I'm also kind of interested in this. It seems pretty good for the price

This
>tfw interested in synths but have little money

Obviously there are cheaper options like the TC Electronics Hall of Fame or EHX Cathedral but the Space or Strymon Big Sky are worth the price for their shimmer effects alone.

try waldorf blofeld keyboard, it's not analogue but otherwise wonderful synth in the same price range.

I think TC trinity is better option for synths.

Honestly, the next piece of gear I need is a house. I already have too much gear for an apartment, and some of my amps are too loud for neighbors.

Have you ever considered using a synth lead or bass? Synths are such variable instruments you can really make your sound stand out with a correctly used one.
