Under the centenarian snowdrifts of biblical anecdotes, lustfull
Orthodox believers and gluttonous Catholics, abandoned trenches
and burning ant hills -
The eternal spring in a solitary confinement
Under the houses and squares flooded by crowds, crowded
deserts, stinky churches, red-hot dicks and
hungry vaginas -
The eternal spring in a solitary confinement
Through the mirror asylums, vocabularies, blasphemous
thoughts and drunk away money, abundantly manured
cemeteries and gardens -
The eternal spring in a solitary confinement
Impenetrable,
shrill,
predatory,
desperate
sparrow flock wails in me
Centuries of snowdrifts, infirmaries, pithecanthropes, poems,
medicines, bread, shows, obligatory underground treatment procedures for all
one-eyed and humpbacks -
The eternal spring in a solitary confinement
Impenetrable,
shrill,
predatory,
desperate
sparrow flock wails in me
What do you think? Did they steal something from "Creep"?

It's GrOb by style: same raw depressive lo-fi post-punk, whilst Opizdenevshie have had more clear, dreamy and psychedelic sound.

Those guys still live in 80s?
I listened to weird weeb punk from Ufa once
It wasn't very good
FUCK man, I love Letov and GrOB but i literally have no clue what theyre saying - and its political music so its kinda needed.
is it worth learning?
>>69018187
If you're not familiar with Soviet history you wouldn't get it anyway, and it's not like anyone actually teaches that outside former Soviet states
>>69018231
i know a fair amount, probably not enough however
>>69018187
>its political music
Not really. Some of early stuff and (de-facto) double album Solntsevorot/Nevynosimaya lyogkost' bytiya — yes, but most of it are more existential than political.
>is it worth learning?
Worth, but not necessary.
>>69018396
okay, much appreciated
i love the late 80s material the most, mousetrap is my favorite. i might start learning some basic talk however
