Listened to this a couple times, completely blown away
Any recs of their other albums?
You should definitely check Bright Surroundings Dark Beginnings, it's live stuff from this era and very guitar focused. Wah is another psych guitar driven album by them, also jam based.
The Multiple Hallucinations of an Assassin is a fantastic demo from these sessions if you can find it.
Carnival Folklore vol. 7 is also in a similar vein.

Seconding Bright Surroundings, Dark Beginnings and Multiple Hallucinations of an Assassin. Also check out Kaliflower, Grotto of Miracles, 330,003 Crossdressers From Beyond the Rig Veda and Dante's Disneyland Inferno. The solo albums are also good. Personally, I think everything they did is at least worth checking out, but they're my favorite band so I'm biased.

330,003 Crossdressers and Horse Cock Phepner are gold, also Jack's Creek is underrated.

Honestly, this is one of my least favorite albums of theirs, still like it though. Imo their best stuff is their free improvisation.
Dawn of the Devi and Wah are my favorites I've come across so far. Bright Surroundings Dark Beginnings is great too. Interested to see what other people have to say, though, because I haven't yet worked through their whole discography, and so much of it is so fucking good.
