The first four tracks are great and then it descends into rather tepid noodling. It seems Mac Plus put all her remixing effort into the first half of the album.

I'm not saying this to be contrarian or edgy, that's honestly how I feel listening to this album.

tracks 1, 2 and 5 are some of the best vaporwave ever made. several tracks on the second half are great ambient wave and the closer is decent. anyone who says its shit is just mad that it was memed into popularity.

I think track 6 is the best. Overall meh album.

It's definitely enjoyable, but but by today's standards, Vektroid's vaporwave pales in comparison to someone like 식료품groceries.

Track 2 is good and a landmark for Vaporwave but it's been so meme'd to death that it's hard to listen to it seriously

To me the rest is pretty me, everytime i try to re-listen to the whole thing i get bored around the middle of the album and stop listening to it

But overall it's one of the most important Vaporwave albums if you take the genre seriously (and i do), although i think Chuch Person's Eccojams Vol.1 is way more interesting

I could not agree more. The constant barrage of awful vaporwave and vaporwave art can pretty much all be traced back to the people perpetuating that song (and vaporwave in general) as a meme.

It's /the/ vaporwave album, maybe not the most representative of the genre, or even the best one, but it will probably be regarded as the most relevant vapor release, it will go on to carry the genre's mantle once it finally dies off.

I like it, I usually listen to it all the way through but the first two tracks are the ones that stick out to me the most. 420 is a classic, a seminal song that shaped up what vaporwave is today.

It's still literally just a slowed down Diana Ross song, and that is fucking sad. The "most iconic" and "greatest" song in vaporwave is the exact same shit as the 15 year old who thinks hes a supercool vaporwave producer by hitting x0.5 on an 80s pop song. Vektroid is a hack and the genre has mostly gone to shit considering its origins from good experimental artists like Ferraro and Lopatin.
