has last.fm affected your listening habits?
do you stare at your scrobbles?
do you feel any way about it?

no not really
the only thing that changed for me using lastfm is that I now post in the collage threads

I obsessively check my last.fm. I also think way too much about my scrobbles, and will sometimes try to cover up more "embarassing" music that I listen to even though no one else looks at it, and wouldn't care anyway.
it's probably not good for me.
ive had it since 2007 i dont give a fuck anymore
the only thing it makes me do is always make sure I listen to everything I listen to past 50% so I get credit for the scrobble which leads to me sitting my car for a few minutes all the time
It gives pretty good recommendations based on what I've been listening, and browsing through similar artists is more hit than miss, so it's a good tool for expanding my collection.
yeah, sadly. i think that site owns a piece of my soul now.
i probably should subscribe, but they can still go fuck themselves for ruining the layout last year.

I just ignore it and let it do its magic in the background.

same exact thoughts. sometimes i even think about the artists pictures and i really dislike pages with multiple split artists.
damn typing it out like this makes it seem so nonsensical.
Last.fm is fucking shit and you (its users) should all feel bad af. You condition music listening to mere scrobble logging.

i mean that is oversimplifying it. i find a ton of new records & keep up with music partly because of last.fm. but it kinda owns me, i admit it.
